Purge Night [Origins]
A server-wide PVP event to mark the end of wipe.
Many existing plugins are disabled on Purge Night as to prevent cheating or abuse.
Purge Night is generally announced in the Discord #announcements channel and a related Event created. Please see these for the most up-to-date information about the event.
Overview
Begins the evening before wipe (generally a Wednesday) at 8:00 pm EST
Purge Night lets players blow off steam after a long wipe and experience Rust in its purest form. Since everyone will lose their bases and loot to the next day's wipe, we lift the "no KOS" and "no raiding" rules for one night of revenge and fun.
When Purge Night begins, you'll hear an in-game announcement. Regular messages will appear in chat and at the top of the screen (including for players who log in) to remind everyone that Purge Night is active.
Purge Night ends when the server shuts down for wipe the next day, typically around 2:00 PM EST, depending on admin availability.
Purge Kits
Purge Kits are made available to all players. The AK Kit includes a road sign Alliant kit, an AK (with holosight and flashlight), ammo, med sticks, pumpkins, and cloth with a 10-minute cooldown. The Boom Kit includes a rocket launcher, 10 C4, and 5 rockets with a 30-minute cooldown.
